Unless something is done to clearly curb that, people will mistake the skyscale's ability to inflict small amounts of damage while remaining mounted as license to spend entire overworld bossfights floating in place, spamming fireballs. Clogging up everyone's vision with the giant flapping wings of their mount.

Mounts should never be locked behind this much BS, imo, just on principle. It's one thing to do that with a cosmetic look, but mounts fundamentally change how you play the game and, importantly, how easily you are able to keep up with other players in the open world.
The Skyscale is an absolutely fantastic mount. SO comfortable and easy to traverse any type of terrain. Its not a speed mount, its a traversing mount, able to clamber up any damned thing imaginable. Moving around with the Skyscale is extremely forgiving. I'm klutzy and the Skyscale is the ultimate anti-klutz mount!
