Hi Africa Twin’rs I just picked up a 2017 dct with 1900 miles, I like the automatic sport mode for city cruising, I’m having problems constantly with it not wanting to shift into 4th gear which I end up paddle shifting it, I’m really annoyed with such low miles there are issues.
78 posts · Joined 2017. #7 · May 11, 2019. Yes, the Honda AT MCCruise kit is not specific to the DCT. It uses a spool to connect the manual throttle setting and MCCruise servo cables to the throttle spindle cable. The Africa Twin kit plugs into the OEM harness for speed and brake info.
It was also sold as an automatic (DCT) version and later came as an Adventure Sport, which featured a larger tank, crash bars and a different paint job.
